As the weather cools and the skies grow gray, we retrieve our coziest, most fashionable Fall and Winter essentials. And with each year comes new trends and the return of our favorites. Below are the Fall/Winter 2021/2022 Season trends will be filling your closet.

The Pantone Color of the Year is an annual color selection made by the Pantone Color Institute. The color selection(s) influences product development and purchasing decisions in multiple industries including fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design. The colors of the products you purchase are impacted by the annual selection, as well as other color palettes released in accordance with the color(s) of the year. This year’s Pantone Color of the Year includes two colors: Ultimate Gray and Illuminating. The selection of these two colors was in hopes of spreading a message of “strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. And as we cross into these new seasons, let us not forget the colors and trends that will be shaping our closets this year.

  1. Mykonos Blue

  2. Illuminating

  3. Leprechaun

  4. Fuchsia Fedora

  5. Pale Rosette

Within the 20 years that Pantone has selected their color(s) of the year, variations of that color have been introduced and produced through color palettes inspired by the annual selection. Though the summer season is coming to an end, there still remains a high demand for bright and bold colors. From colors like Illuminating and Fuchsia Fedora to Pale Rosette and Leprechaun Green, expect to see a variety of eye-catching prints on the streets. And while we hold tight to those daring shades, this season will still encompass those core classics ranging from Coconut Cream and Ultimate Gray to Soybean and Olive Branch.
